Local
Trinity established a ministry with Rose City Estates Mobile Home Park in Thomasville over 15 years ago. We serve this community in a variety of ways, including weekly bible study, workdays for residents with special needs, “Angel Tree” Christmas gifts, Easter baskets with Bibles, holiday food baskets, Vacation Bible School, and weekly meals to the children of the neighborhood.
Additional local financial and incarnational support includes Goalline Ministries, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Community Transformation, Feed the Community, Community Outreach Training Center (COTC), Fountain of Life Homeless Shelter, The Forgotten Initiative (Foster Care Community) and Trinity’s Compassion Fund.
Trinity is intentionally located in a restored downtown building so that we can serve the needs of our community. We are delighted to open our doors to local organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club, Alcoholic Anonymous meetings, Goalline Ministries, The Gathering Place, and Bible Study Fellowship. Many city-wide events are held at our facility, such as the Fourth of July celebration, Thomasville Rose Show, Victorian Christmas, “Sundays at 4” concert series for Thomas University, local film festivals, and occasional art showings.
International
Our mission teams have served the needs of communities in Peru, Belize, Uganda, Czech Republic and Rwanda. Over the years, we have supported missionaries with SAMS, the Diocese of South Rwenzori, Uganda, and Global Teams Partnership. Currently, we are partnered with a “sister” parish in Bumbogo, Rwanda.
Annually, we hold a large fundraising event to build awareness and raise money for missions. We also observe World Missions Sunday and host Compassion Sunday for child sponsorships through Compassion International.
