Advent at Trinity
Advent Resources
Available through December 1
Our Advent resources table in the Parish Hall is stocked with everything you need to celebrate this season leading up to Christmas! Pick up a set of candles, a brass wreath, colorable Jesse tree ornaments for kids, children's books, and a daily Advent devotional from Christianity Today. Donations accepted but not required.
Advent Compline
December 4, 11, 18 at 7:45pm
Join us for a contemplative prayer service each Wednesday this Advent as we quiet our hearts and minds during a busy season and prepare to receive the hope, peace, and joy of Jesus Christ in Christmas.
Angel Tree
RCE gifts due back by December 13
Our Angel Tree provides much-needed gifts for the kids at Rose City Estates. Pick up an angel and bring the gifts back to Trinity by December 13 for delivery on Sunday, December 15. If you would like to help deliver gifts, please reach out to Pamela Tucker!
Greening the Church
December 22 following worship
We need all hands on deck to “green” the church for our Christmas Eve services, so make plans to stay after worship and lend a hand. Youth will assemble luminaries for our Christmas Eve service, and children will green their area upstairs. A soup lunch will be provided as well as nursery care for those who need it.
Christmas Music & Flowers
If you would like to purchase a poinsettia in memory or honor of a loved one or contribute toward our Candlelight Service string quartet, you may do so through this online form (choose Music or Flowers from the dropdown list). Poinsettias are $25 each and you can take it home with you after church on December 29th. The string quartet is a much-loved tradition for our 9 pm Christmas Eve service.
