Advent & Christmas at Trinity

Join us at one of our 2 Christmas Eve services in person and online!

Christmas Eve Family Service: 4 pm

This informal, kid-friendly service will feature Christmas carols for the whole family to sing and a short communion service. No childcare will be provided because this short service will engage both children and adults.

Watch online at 4pm EST on December 24 from our Facebook page or YouTube.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: 9 pm

A beautiful candlelight service with all the great carols of Christmas, featuring a string quartet, full choir, communion, and a reception following. No childcare is provided for this service.

Watch online at 9pm EST on December 24 from our Facebook page or YouTube.

Advent Compline

November 30 and December 7, 14, 21 at 8 pm

Join us for a contemplative prayer service each Tuesday this Advent as we quiet our hearts and minds during a busy season and prepare to receive the hope, peace, and joy of Jesus Christ in Christmas.

Advent Resources

Our Advent resources table in the Parish Hall is stocked with everything you need to celebrate this season leading up to Christmas! Pick up a set of candles, a brass wreath, a copy of Ashley Wallace’s book, A Thrill of Hope: Celebrating Advent at Home, and colorable Jesse tree ornaments for kids. Donations accepted but not required.

Angel Tree

RCE gifts due back by December 12

We have 2 giving trees this year: one with a local focus and another with a global one. Our Angel Tree provides much-needed gifts for the kids at Rose City Estates, and our Compassion Tree allows you to contribute a gift toward Compassion International’s global needs or to Cross Cultural Connections in their work to end human trafficking. If you would like to contribute but are unable to make it in to the church, you can donate through this online form.

Lessons & Carols

December 19 at 10am in the Nave

Hear the great story of Christmas from Genesis to Revelation, sing the carols of Advent & Christmas, and listen to our children recount the story of Jesus’s birth at this unique service. Nursery care is provided.

Greening the Church

December 22 from 6-8pm

We need all hands on deck to “green” the church for our Christmas Eve services, so make plans to come out and lend a hand. Youth will assemble luminaries for our Christmas Eve service, and children will green their area upstairs. Supper will be provided by Fr. David and Fr. Justin as they battle for bragging rights to the best chili! Nursery care will be provided for those who need it.

Christmas Music & Flowers

If you would like to purchase a poinsettia in memory or honor of a loved one, you may do so through this online form. Poinsettias are $15 each and you can take it home with you after church on December 26th. If you would like to contribute toward our Candlelight Service string quartet, you can do that through this form. This is a much-loved tradition for our 9 pm Christmas Eve service.
