Thomas County Cares Food Drive for Children
Thomas County Cares (TCC) is coordinating an effort to help Scott Elementary feed their homeless students, a number that has doubled since the fall. They are currently lacking enough food to feed an additional 60 students/weekend and would welcome donations of the following: Individual pkgs of grits & oatmeal, individual pkgs of cereal, Poptarts, Nutri-grain bars, granola bars, fruit cups & juices, Vienna sausages, individual mac & cheese cups, packs of crackers, ramen noodle packages, cans of spaghetti-O's, ravioli-O's or child friendly soups (like chicken noodle), packs of crackers or cookies, and recycled grocery bags for packaging. These items can be dropped off in the pop-up bin in the Parish Hall. Thank you!
